Easy Asparagus Tart
- 1/3 Cains Mayonnaise
- 1 - 1/2 tbsp fresh dill, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp all purpose flour
- 1 piece frozen puff pastry, thawed according to package directions
- 1 - 1/2 cup grated Swiss Cheese, (preferably gruyere)
- 1/4 pound thin asparagus spears
Preheat oven to 400° F. In a small bowl, combine mayo, dill, lemon juice, and flour. Set aside.
On a floured surface, roll puff pastry into a 10x13 - inch rectangle. Place dough on a baking sheet and moisten a 1/2 - inch border with water. Turn over moistened edge and press to form a crust. Spread mayo mixture inside crust and sprinkle with cheese. Trim asparagus to fit and lay crosswise on cheese to fill tart.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Let rest for 10 minutes.
